A Large-Scale Transformation Challenge

Yves Saint Laurent set itself an ambitious challenge: to update more than 600 pieces of furniture across perfumeries throughout Spain, while preserving its iconic luxury image.

The objective was twofold: to modernise the in-store customer experience through reimagined merchandising, and to reinforce the brand’s commitment to a sustainable and responsible luxury.

A 360° Strategy Combining Design, Logistics and Sustainability

To meet this challenge, a rigorous organisation was put in place. The warehouse was optimised for training, assembly, and preparation of merchandising elements, in order to minimise handling time at the point of sale. In close collaboration with the brand, a detailed schedule was established to anticipate every step.

Calls to perfumeries helped confirm the furniture to be replaced and secure the necessary authorisations, ensuring perfect alignment with YSL’s visual identity and merchandising guidelines.

Sustainable Luxury in Action

Beyond the operational deployment, a system of certified containers was implemented to ensure the controlled disposal and sustainable recycling of old furniture. This initiative demonstrates that merchandising, aesthetics, and responsibility can be harmoniously combined within the selective perfumery sector.

This project highlights Yves Saint Laurent’s commitment to uniting style and sustainability, proving that the luxury of tomorrow will be both innovative and responsible.
