Notre-Dame in Chocolate: A Tribute to French Heritage
To mark the restoration of Notre-Dame de Paris, Valrhona paid tribute to this iconic monument by reinterpreting it through its chocolate artistry. This project celebrates both French cultural heritage and craftsmanship excellence, offering travellers a unique encounter between tradition, gastronomy and emotion.
A Sensory and Cultural Experience
At the heart of Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport, Valrhona unveiled an exclusive pop-up store, designed as a true showcase of French savoir-faire. The space immerses visitors in an extraordinary journey where chocolate becomes a medium for discovery and sharing, combining immersive experience, premium gastronomy and cultural heritage.
To enrich the customer journey, GLOBE TRAVEL RETAIL deployed specially trained brand ambassadors, guiding travellers through the story of the brand and highlighting Valrhona’s exceptional craftsmanship.
An Immersive Pop-Up Elevating the Art of Chocolate
The centrepiece of the activation is a monumental 2.25-metre-long chocolate sculpture, created by Baptiste Moreau, former pastry chef at L’École Valrhona Paris. A symbol of refinement and creativity, it embodies the richness of French craftsmanship.
Travellers could also indulge in Valrhona’s signature hot chocolate, crafted with exceptional ingredients, and personalise their purchases at the Gift Atelier, where customised ribbons were printed on-site. A refined way to extend the experience and elevate the art of gifting.
